1. Be a Michigan resident
You have to live in the State of Michigan and be 18 years old
For the Home Help program, anyone except for a spouse or parent of a disabled child under 18 years old is eligible.
2. Be an eligible Family or Friend
Care recipient needs to qualify for Medicaid or already have Medicaid.
3. Take care of a Medicaid recipient
